Frequently Asked Questions

Does My Home Qualify?

Most likely. It is estimated that over half the homes in the U.S. can benefit from having a solar system. The best fit for solar is a single-family, stand alone home or other structure such as a garage or barn, with a southern facing roof in good condition. But even if those characteristics aren't true for your situation, the odds are you may still be a good candidate for solar due to high rates from your power company.

What Type of Products Do You Use?

SunLogic and it's partners only use "Tier One" products that are 100% made in America. Unlike most other solar companies trying to sell you a "cheaper" system, we never use products made overseas even though they are less expensive. The quality is inferior and the reliability becomes a problem which means you will spend more money overtime waiting for repairs. The saying "You Get What You Pay For" has never been more accurate than in the solar industry.

How Does Solar Work?

Solar panels convert sunlight into DC (Direct Current) current. Your inverter then converts the DC electricity to AC (Alternating Current) current. AC current is what your home currently uses to power everything in your home such as appliances, HVAC systems for heating and air conditioning and all circuits for lighting etc. The more you make, the less you need from your power company. Lastly, the excess power you generate typically get's sent back to the utility company to credit your account.

What Is A Federal Tax Credit?

The Federal Government has implemented a tax credit program to help homeowners go solar by giving a large tax credit towards the taxes you owe. For 2022 the tax credit is 26% of the total cost of your solar system. In 2023 it reduces down to 22% and is currently set to be eliminated at the end of next year. EXAMPLE: If your total system cost was $30,000.00, you would be eligible for a $7,800.00 tax credit making your realized cost $22,200.00 and reducing your monthly payment if you plan on fina

How Long Does It Take?

The average project typically takes approximately 60 days to get installed depending on your location. Much faster than most of our competitors.

How Long Is The Warranty?

Our panels are proudly Made In America and come with 2 warranties. 25 Year Manufacturers Warranty 25 Year Production Guaranty
